Dry White
Produces fine wines in the Cote d'Or region of France. This white Burgundy grape is a shy bearer with clusters that are small, loose to well filled, cylindrical and winged. Berries are small, round, and usually have one seed. With apple-like flavors, this classic white is aged in Nevers oak.
The jewel among the white French-American hybrids for its combination of superior wine quality, excellent cultural characteristics and broad adaptability. Medium vigor, highly productive with large, long clusters, of a yellowish-green tint. A dry, crisp, full-flavored white wine, it is at its best when young and fruity. A small portion of our production is set aside as "Proprietors' Reserve", being carefully aged in white American oak barrels.
Originating in the French Cognac district, it is a hybrid of Trebbiano, the Italian white Chianti grape. Good vigor, hardy, heavy producer. Vidal has small, long clusters of greenish-yellow hue with brown speckles. A dry, neutral-flavored dinner wine, aged in small, white American oak barrels.
Vigorous and hardy with a touch of tartness, recalling "petit Chablis", it has Chardonnay in its ancestry. A clean, crisp dry white wine.
